duane_kcWell, for those of you who didn't know, I just got out of a week in the hospital. Nasty staph infection, got a gaping hole in my leg where it had to be dug out. I was also diagnosed as a diabetic.
For those of you who had to endure my previous rants on the subject of being diabetic, let me assure you that they did manage to convince me in the hospital not to come home immediately and load up Grandad's shotgun due to this diagnosis. I'm weak as a kitten right now, but I'm also not going to immediately go and shoot myself.
Anybody who wants the gory details, replay here; I'm a bit tired at the moment, so I'm going to sign off now.

Date: 2005-06-28 07:04 pm (UTC)my MIL was diagnosed diabetic last year and was upset but has learned what to do for her body and feels better than ever. and oldest daughters boyfriend has had it since he was young, lives a normal life just has to watch what he eats some, take meds etc,,, it will be ok... and NO SHOOTING!!! or else!!!
