Well, I'm changing jobs again. Something I couldn't pass up just dropped into my lap, and I'm going to work for Encore Collections on Monday, Mar. 3.

$12.12 an hour plus bonus and commissions.

Only problem is, my days off will be Friday and Saturday, at least for the next couple of months. I'm still hoping to arrange things to do Joplin faire and St. Louis, but I don't know if that's going to be possible.

I won't make Joplin (training and performance weekend), and will only make two weekends of Saint Louis, at most (weddings to deal with), but will hopefully see you at some point!

Oh sweetie. I do wish you lots and lots of luck, but you should have talked to your good collector friend about that decision before you jumped right in. Well, if you want to work in this area it does pay good, but after 8 years I can tell you working the easier/legal side of things has really gotten to me. You are much nicer than me and taking the harder side of things. I still wish you luck and will cross my fingers for ya. *hugs*

Congratulations on the new job! Please don't turn into a collection asshole! I firmly believe that if you are nice and respectful to the debtor, they will be far more inclined to try to pay something.
