duane_kcWent to see "Daredevil" with John Carroll tonight, since Missy's off at a party.. Just some random thoughts...
...I don't remember "Foggy" Nelson (Matt Murdock's law partner) being such an a$$hole in the comics. Trying to switch mustard for the honey a blind man is putting in his drink?!?!?
...Michael Clarke Duncan. In the immortal words of Bugs Bunny, "My! He's a BIG one!" Really fits the role of the Kingpin well.
...Jennifer Garner was a really good piece of casting. She looks so right as Elektra. And she manages to make it look really good during the fight scenes as well.
...Colin Farrel had the attitude down right, but the writers were on crack. C'mon; Bullseye was never a great hand-to-hand fighter, and he took down a woman who has fought Wolverine to a standstill before?!?!?
...Great cameo by Stan Lee. No, I'm not gong to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it. :)
Rating: 3 out of 5. Not bad, but old-school comics readers will nit-pick it to death.
